Outreach Program by M-AFHC SNM Leh at Govt. Middle School Sanker
M-AFHC SNM Leh organized a comprehensive outreach session at Government Middle School, Sanker, focusing on mental health, hygiene, and adolescent well-being.

Session Highlights:
Mental Health Awareness
Ms. Mariyah Samreen conducted an engaging session on stress management, anxiety, and depression, helping students understand early signs, coping mechanisms, and when to seek help. She encouraged open discussion and shared practical mental wellness tips suited for adolescents.
Health & Hygiene
Dr. Rubina Jabeen emphasized the importance of daily hygiene habits, nutrition, and disease prevention. She also explained how poor hygiene can affect both physical and mental well-being.
Adolescent Health Education
A separate session focused on STIs (Sexually Transmitted Infections) and RTIs (Reproductive Tract Infections), where students were informed about causes, symptoms, prevention, and the importance of seeking timely medical advice. Topics like menstrual hygiene and physical changes during puberty were also discussed.
Individual Counselling Sessions
The program concluded with one-on-one counselling for students who wanted to discuss personal issues, emotional concerns, or health-related queries in a safe, private setting. Many students actively participated and appreciated the opportunity for confidential guidance.
