*Change yourself*

There was a king who was bothered by severe eye pain.

He consulted many physicians, consumed heavy loads of drugs and took hundreds of injections.

But the ache persisted with even greater vigour than before.

At last a monk was called who immediately diagnosed his problem and said, for sometime the king should only look at & concentrate on green colours and not let his eyes fall on any other colours.

The ministers got together a group of painters and purchased barrels of green color and directed that every object the king's eye was likely to fall on, be painted in green colour, so that the king does'nt see any other colour just as the monk had directed.

When the monk came to visit him after a few days, the king’s servants ran with buckets of green paints and poured on him since the monk was in red dress, lest their master see any other colour and his eye ache comes back.

Hearing this the monk laughed & said “If only you had just got a pair of green spectacles, you could have saved these walls, trees and pots and all other articles from this unwarranted change.
You cannot paint the world green.”

Let us change our vision and the world will appear accordingly.

It is easier to protect your feet with slippers than to carpet the whole earth.

It is foolish to shape the world, let us shape ourselves first.

Just change your vision & stay blessed forever!

At 40, Franz Kafka (1883-1924), who never married and had no children, was walking through a park one day in Berlin when he met a girl who was crying because she had lost her favourite doll. She and Kafka searched for the doll unsuccessfully.
Kafka told her to meet him there the next day and they would come back to look for her.
The next day, when they had not yet found the doll, Kafka gave the girl a letter "written" by the doll saying "please don't cry. I took a trip to see the world. I will write to you about my adventures."
Thus began a story which continued until the end of Kafka's life.
During their meetings, Kafka read the letters of the doll carefully written with adventures and conversations that the girl found adorable.
Finally, Kafka brought back the doll (he bought one) that had returned to Berlin.
"It doesn't look like my doll at all," said the girl.
Kafka handed her another letter in which the doll wrote: "my travels have changed me." The little girl hugged the new doll and brought the doll with her to her happy home.
A year later Kafka died.
Many years later, the now-adult girl found a letter inside the doll. In the tiny letter signed by Kafka it was written:
"Everything you love will probably be lost, but in the end, love will return in another way."
Embrace change. It's inevitable for growth. Together we can shift pain into wonder and love, but it is up to us to consciously and intentionally create that connection.

*Even Gods Have Problems*😊

My nephew dragged me to a
Satsang, saying you are sitting whole day at home. I went reluctantly. I said to myself, that since I have not slept well these last few days, maybe the satsang will put me to sleep for a few hours.

Well, I was in for a pleasant surprise. The saint was really good, and humorous, and he broached the topic of human problems. He said we are complaining all the time, but even the Gods have their own set of problems, much more than us. Here is what he said and this is what I remember from his speech.

Lord Shiva and Vishnu were chatting one day, and Shiva was complaining to Vishnu about his problems. Here is what he said:

I have two sons Ganesh and Kartikiya. (I did not know about Kartikiya). Ganesh Sits on a mouse, Kartikya sits on a peacock. And I have a snake around my neck.

The peacock eyes the snake (peacocks eat snakes). My snake eyes Ganesh's Mouse. Worse, I sit on the Nandi, the Bull, and my wife Parvati sits on the lion. Now the lion is eyeing my Nandi.
I have so much trouble balancing these things about.

Worse still, Parvati does not like her sister , Ganga to sit on my head. It is so cold on Kailash and with all these problems, very little clothes on me, I wanted to kill myself. I drank poison, but that got stuck in my throat, and I cant even die .

Vishnu said, your problems are nothing , listen to mine.

I have one son, Kaamdev, the lord of lust. He has created havoc in the cosmos. I am ashamed.

I have one wife. Laxmi. Everyone prays to me, but want her to come to their house. And no one wants to let her go. Shiva, your wife is with you, mine is roaming all around the world, with no one wanting to leave her, how would you feel in my place?

Also my Vahaan, the vehicle of travel, is Garud, the big bird. I have no seat belt, so cold up there, and one swish, and I vould be dead.

You are sitting in one place , Kailash, and look at me I am sitting in the ocean, on the head of Sheshnag, with multiple heads, and if one head goes wonky and bites me, I am dead .

After the satsang was over I was laughing all the way home, sleep disappeared, and I came to realize that saintly teachings are not bad, that I should have listened more in my younger days, but never mind, I enjoyed this one a lot.

*Yes we all have problems, each human being having his or her own set of problems. But we have to face them and get along.*
😎😂😜
So, enjoy and enjoy 😁

*Ganesh Visarjan* is one of the beautiful concept .
Visarjan basically teaches us to let go, (Tyag)
Visarjan of Unwanted things , like extra clothes, extra shoes, extra something which we are not using for years and years , all that stores our negative energy! You want something new to happen in life , you have to let go with some old patterns .
Visarjan of Ego,
Visarjan of anger ,
Visarjan of anxiety,
Visarjan of sadness,
Visarjan of negative emotions.

While we do Ganesh Visarjan , we pray to Bappa to help us to do Visarjan of our all the negative emotions and have a Fresh start .

Visarjan is not for Ganesh ji,
Visarjan is for us ☺️✨🙏🏻

*GOOD Morning*

*THE BHISHMA WAY OR THE JATAYU WAY*

No two people react to the same situation in a similar way. Here are examples of two legendary personalities who were faced with a very similar situation, but their responses were diagonally apart.
One has been elevated, but the other only recognised.
It's between *Bhishma & Jatayu.*
Both of them were confronted with character defining assault on womanhood.
One chose to die protecting the victim while the other chose to be a mute spectator of the crime.

*1) POWERFUL OR POWERLESS*
Bhishma was a powerful & capable warrior, & if he wanted, he could have stopped the disrobing of Draupadi, the Queen.
But he chose to be a silent witness of this act;
Whereas, Jatayu was old & invalid & knew that in all probability, Ravana would kill him. Still, he chose to try his best to protect Sita, the Queen.
Bhishma was powerful yet acted powerless, where Jatayu was powerless yet acted powerful.
*"Real power is not about physical strength but about the deep desire to help."*

*2) ALIVE OR DEAD*
Bhishma lived on but died every day to his conscience;
Whereas Jatayu died once but lived eternally true to his conscience.
*"Our only constant companion is our conscience. We better be true to it."*

*3) FAME OR INFAMY*
Bhishma's name & fame went down in history because of this one act of not stopping the disrobing of Draupadi.
But Jatayu's name & fame went high in history because of his act of trying to save Sita.
*"Many of us are going to be mere names in history, sooner or later. Will we be equated with the bad or the good is our choice."*

*4) CULTURE OR VULTURE*
Bhishma was supposed to be a highly cultured human but acted highly insensitively & stooped low in values like a vulture.
Whereas, Jatayu was supposed to be a lowly uncultured vulture but acted highly sensitively & soared the skies in values like an evolved human.
*"One doesn't become a human by being born as a human. He only becomes a human by being human."*

*5) SPOKEN OR UNSPOKEN WORDS*
Draupadi begged & pleaded protection from Bhishma because she knew if someone could protect her, it was only him, but still Bhishma didn't protect her.
Whereas Sita didn't even ask Jatayu for protection, she just wanted him to inform Rama about her kidnapping by Ravana because she knew Jatayu was not powerful, but still Jatayu tried to protect Sita.
*"The language of the heart is more powerful than the language of words."*

*6) CLARITY OR CONFUSION*
Bhishma was so confused regarding his royal duty that he forgot that he had a higher duty, a moral duty;
Whereas, Jatayu was so clear about his moral duty that no other duty was a consideration for him.
*"When caught up in dilemmas, best is to follow the higher principles, to follow our heart because it always knows the truth."*

*7) GOOD OR BAD EXAMPLE*

Bhishma set a very bad precedent for generations to come;
Whereas, Jatayu set the most ideal precedent for generations to come.
*"If we can't be a great example, at least let us not be a bad one."*

*8) RELATIVE OR STRANGER*
Another interesting point is that Bhishma was an elderly relative of Draupadi but acted as a total stranger in this episode;
Whereas Jatayu was not at all related to Sita, he was a stranger but acted more than a dearest relative.
*"True relationships are based on heart connections, not just bodily connections."*

*9) THE SAINTLY OR THE WICKED*

Both Bhishma & Jatayu had a few moments to decide what to do.
Life sometimes puts in situations where in a few moments we need to take crucial decisions.
What we decide very much depends on the kind of inner integrity we have cultivated by the association we keep.
Bhishma's intelligence was clouded, & it failed the test of life because he associated with the wicked minded, selfish Kauravas;
Whereas, Jatayu's intelligence was crystal clear, & it passed the test of life because he associated with the saintly, selfless Lakshman & the All-pure Lord Rama.
*"After all, who we are solely depends on whom we associate with."*

*10) EMBRACE OR NEGLECT*

The Supreme Lord, as Sri Krishna, was not at all happy with this attitude of Bhishma so much so that when He came as a peace messenger to Hastinapur, He didn't even bother to look at Bhishma.
Whereas, The Supreme Lord Ramachandra was so happy with the attitude of Jatayu that he embraced him & personally did his final rites, an honour that even Dasharath, His father didn't receive.

*"The scriptures explain that the ultimate test of any activity is if the Supreme Lord is pleased with us."*
It is very clear, Bhishma displeased God; whereas Jatayu pleased Him.
This recount is not meant to criticize Bhishma, he is undoubtedly a great personality, but we do vehemently criticize his inaction.

*Moral:*
*When we see some injustice or some problem, we have only two options Either we close your eyes to it or do something about it, follow "the Bhishma way" or "the Jatayu" way."*
*Whichever way we choose, remember there will also be a result, "the Bhishma result" or "the Jatayu result."*

*GOOD AFTERNOON!*

*Biodialogue:* It actually happens, amongst the vital organs of the human body!

Unless you just ran a marathon or climbed Mount Everest, there is simply no way that the body can successfully handle the junk food we gobble - the samosas, bread pakodas, doughnuts etc that we munch in the hospital canteen. The vast majority of all this is sugar, fats & refined starch.

When this flood of glucose hits the bloodstream, alarms go off in the liver & pancreas. At the genome level, a metabolic "switchboard" lights up. The *Biodialogue* goes like this:

*Liver to pancreas* : Glucose levels are skyrocketing! What’s your plan?

*Pancreas:* I’m exhausted from handling the aloo paratha from breakfast. And that super sweet milky masala chai & egg at 9:00. You’ve got to take this load.

*Liver:* I’ve got no room. [hits panic button. Sirens going off]

*Genome:* Come on liver, convert the glucose to glycogen.

*Liver:* I’m bursting with glycogen. Let me call the muscles. See if they need any energy.

*Muscles:* zzzzzzz what? Energy? No, we have no need for energy. We haven’t moved much in weeks.

*Genome:* Well, liver. What’s your plan?

*Liver:* I’ll convert the glucose to triglycerides & stash it in the bloodstream.

*Bloodstream:* No howling way! Blood is so thick already that circulation through capillary beds is down to critical levels. We’ve got billions of starving & suffocating cells in the toes, eyes, brain, & kidneys.

*Genome:* That can only mean one thing: liver, you know what to do.

*Liver:* Okay! It’ll take a few hours, but I can send these triglycerides to adipose tissue. Let me see …. belly, butt, thighs … back of the arms, a little under the chin. That’ll have to do!

And that's how:
*Our clothes do not fit now!*

Good one. As we see some such food first, it starts with an argument between the tongue & brain.

*Brain* says, " Don't touch it. You already have enough of it in your system. Instead, take fresh fruits & vegetables."

*Tongue:* "I can not resist the temptation. Please keep quiet!😊"

Have a great & profitable week ahead!

🧠🫀👀🦻🏻👃🏻💪🏻🍞🍾🥂🍹🍗🍕🫕🥚🍔🌭🌮🫔🥗🥘🥮🍧🍫🍩😉😄😘😘🫡

On a lighter note:

Dalai Lama sent an email to Xi Jinping, the Premier of China, who opened the email & clicked on attachment. It was a malware & the Party's computer system crashed. Xi Jinping got on the phone & angrily demanded an answer from 'His Holiness'.

Dalai Lama replied with a smile- "With attachment, comes suffering!"
