StandUp Female Hygiene Products

STAND-UP exist to empower women. We believe every woman is a force of nature and should be revered as such. We also believe every girl deserves an education, yet millions of girls around the world miss school during their periods because they can't afford pads. That's why with every STAND-UP purchase, we provide pads and health education to a girl in need. STAND-UP use the power of business to fight for gender equality and provide products, education, and jobs to girls and women in need in developing nations and right here at home. Currently Personal Hygiene is a Global Problem. The problem is millions of girls and women around the world stay home from school or work during their periods because they can't afford menstrual supplies. Over 100 Million Girls and women use rags, plastics, sand and ash to manage their periods. Also According to the report, Dignity for Her, “Girls tend to miss school six days a month on an average due to the inability to manage their periods at school. This eventually contributes to almost 23 per cent girls dropping out of school on reaching puberty, which critically undermines their potential as individuals and future workers.” Currently STAND-UP is working as a social enterprise providing affordable and environmentally sustainable sanitary pads and other hygiene products for India's most vulnerable girls and women. STAND-UP also empowers local female entrepreneurs to set up and run their own business of female hygiene, providing jobs to women who would otherwise be unemployed or employed in the s*x trade. These businesses will support the local economy and create a supply of Hygiene Products in areas where menstrual products would otherwise be inaccessible. When passion meets purpose We see a world where women can live fully- embodied-with condence, pride, and reverence for the awesome power of their female bodies. STAND-UP will be a tireless advocate for health and equality of women and girls globally and a trusted source for pioneering products and distributing information.
