The criminals are taking full advantage of cracks in the criminal justice system. Which is caused by absence of coordinated systems.
When the objective of all is to provide rule of law. Enhance safety and security and punish and reform the criminal.
What I believe we can begin doing as an experiment is a quarterly round table of all wings of criminal justice systems at district, state and national levels.
Which brings police, prosecution, judiciary and the prisons together to listen to each other.
These can be turn by turn chaired by law secretaries/ Home Secretaries, collectors, zonal Commisioners and others according to forum.
Right now we are only speaking at each other not with each other. Not meeting but debating in various forums as blame games.
The criminals are getting away and continue to be emboldened.
They are having the last laugh.

People are suffering.
We can do a system in the criminal justice system too.
Let’s experiment.
And give our egos some break. Let’s listen to each other for the service of our people.
