Dr Shwetha Sankanur of Chirayu Critical Care was invited as faculty for Basic Life Support Training of general public conducted by Indian Lingayat Youth Federation and Veerashaiva Lingayat Sanghatane, Tiptur under the able leadership of Dr Shalini’s Nalwad of ICATT Foundation, Bangalore.
Around 600 lay persons were trained in BLS at the event along with Health Check Up, Registration for organ donation and Blood Donation Camp

A 59 year old male K/c/o Diabetes mellitus came with H/O fever with chills and cough Right basal pneumonia soon complicated into Empyema thoracis .Thoracoscopy and drainage performed after stabilising him with mechanical Ventilation. He was hospitalized for a period of 15 days .Despite all the ups and downs ,patient went back home walking .A great win for the team CHIRAYU
