Surprisingly, the answer is Diet Coke! Here’s why:
1️⃣ Juice = LOTS of Sugar (even "fresh" juice). No fibre = BIG insulin spikes.
2️⃣ Whole fruit > Juice: A whole orange has fibre, less sugar, and keeps you full.
3️⃣ Diet Coke’s artificial sweeteners? Not harmful in moderation (a can a week won’t hurt).
Sure, juice has Vitamin C, but you can get that from other foods without the sugar overload (e.g. spinach, tomatoes, etc.).
Takeaway:
✅ Eat the whole fruit.
✅ Avoid juices (high sugar, no fibre).
✅ Craving a treat? A Diet Coke now and then is fine.
