Shree Vasudev Niwas is the "Prime Seat (आद्यपीठ) in Maharashtra INDIA, for Realisation of one's True Self. Realizing one's True Self is important because only the True Self can experience true joy and also Truth contained in all creation. seekers of Truth, the Rishis saw Self Realisation as a series of mergers of states lower consciousness into the next higher state of consciousness. These mergers
are referred to as "Yoga", a word born of the Sanskrit root ‘Yuj’, which means ‘to join or merge with’. Till True Self is realised, the individual will experience the Universe as "outer universe" and "inner universe", the dividing point being the point of consciousness of "I" at that time. Thus, ancient Indian philosophers, i.e. seekers of truth, the Rishis and Yogis gave the world Outer Yoga and Inner Yoga. At Shree Vasudev Niwas, Outer Yoga is Shree Dattatreya Upasana (Worship), while the inner Yoga is Kundalini Shaktipat MahaYoga. Outer Yoga is Bhakti Yoga or the Yoga of Outer Worship:
The cyclic movement of Generation-Operation-Dissolution (G_O_D) is a process that can be observed in all phenomena by anybody. Since movement of any kind requires some kind of force, this cyclic process too is carried out by the divine forces of Generation, Operation and Dissolution. These are seen in Indian Philosophy, as belonging to the Divine Trinity named Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Mahesh, respectively. Since in actuality, this Trinity of forces is but one, that One is Lord Shree Dattatreya and thus, Worship of Lord Shree Dattatreya is the combined Worship of the forces and elements of Nature. Outer worship is based on the correspondence between gross elements in an individual, viz. body, sense organs, mind etc., with corresponding elements in nature. Inner Yoga is Autonomously happening Kundalini Maha Yoga:
Mahayoga takes the individual very rapidly and AUTOMATICALLY towards Realisation of the Highest Human Potential. In Mahayoga, actions automatically precipitate as yoga movements (योग क्रिया), during the periods of sadhan sittings. The Deity in Mahayoga is nothing but our own Prana Shakti (life force to which we owe our existence). When this life current flows towards our "Inner Universe", it is called "Kundalini Shakti (Inner/ Mystic Life Force). The Awakening / Activation of Kundalini Shakti, marks the spiritual birth of that person, a birth that has no death, as Kundalini Shakti, being Divinely Autonomous, will not rest till it reaches the Ultimate Destination of granting the person, realisation of true self. Although such awakening is only by the Grace of Divine Power, one can seek this Awakening from a Siddha Guru, who functions as a medium. The importance of Guru cannot be over emphasized. Shree Vasudev Niwas represents a historically traceable Guru lineage dating back to AD 1850.
