Polio Awareness Rally on World Polio Day 2025
On the occasion of World Polio Day 2025, the Rotary Club of Hooghly organized a Polio Awareness Rally to promote awareness about the importance of eradicating polio and maintaining a polio-free world. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Rotary Club of Hooghly members, staff of Rotary Hooghly Eye Hospital, RCC members, and well-wishers from the community.

During the Rally, PDG Hira Lal Yadav addressed the gathering and spoke about Rotary’s remarkable contribution to the End Polio Now campaign. He emphasized that although the world has made tremendous progress toward eliminating polio, continued vigilance and vaccination are essential to ensure the disease does not return. He encouraged everyone to stay committed to Rotary’s mission of achieving a polio-free world and expressed appreciation for the collective efforts of all participants in spreading awareness.

Rotary Hooghly Eye Hospital has observed and celebrated World Sight Day 2025 at Rotary Hooghly Eye Hospital, Adcconagar, Hooghly, West Bengal, India.

World Sight Day Celebration at Our Hospital Campus-

On the occasion of World Sight Day-2025, we organized an insightful seminar on our hospital campus focused on the theme "How to Keep Our Eyes Healthy." The event was graced by the esteemed presence of our Chairman Rtn. Hira Lal Yadav, along with distinguished ophthalmologists Dr. Manomay Banerjee, Dr. Debajyoti Nanda, and Dr. Manojay Bandyopadhyay.

The seminar saw active participation from our hospital staff members, and featured valuable discussions on preventive eye care, common vision problems, and the importance of regular eye check-ups.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the speakers and attendees for making this event a meaningful and impactful one.

🔹 Position: Patient Counselor
🔹 Location: Rotary Hooghly Eye Hospital, Hooghly
🔹 Qualification: Graduate in any discipline, Must be knowledgeable in Computer.

🔹 Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience ( Eye Surgeries Counseling).

🔹 Skills Required:
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients

Ability to guide patients through treatment processes and procedures

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

Counsel patients and their families regarding treatment plans

Provide pre-operative and post-operative counseling

Assist patients with hospital procedures and documentation

Help in bridging communication between patients and medical staff
