My Mission

Having a special child in the family, my entire perspective on life as a medical professional has shifted over the past few decades. Around 2001, I developed an interest in treating special children, specifically those diagnosed with ADHD, autism, and other learning disabilities. In 2004, I started the ‘STAR Child Clinic’ under SMF (Sundaram Medical Foundation) in Chennai, India to specifically treat children with special needs. STAR stands for Smart, Talented, Awesome, Resilient. As the acronym suggests, I believe that special children are unique in their abilities and just need some support to realize their potential. My goal is to offer support to these amazing children and their families by raising awareness on various learning disabilities, and sharing knowledge I’ve gained throughout my career.
