Sleep when your baby sleeps even if its for short period of time, new born babies sleep around to 12 to 16 hours a day!

Considre introducing a bottle of pumped breastmilk to your baby a few weeks before returning to work.
Also Invest in a high-quality electric breast pump and necessary accessories like storage bags, cooler bags, etc. Make sure you are comfortable using the pump.

Avoid being rigid with feeding times each day. Nurse on demand and feed your baby whenever they show signs of hunger, rather than adhering to a strict schedule.

8. Alternate Breasts!

To ensure an even milk supply, it is important to switch between breasts during each feeding session. Typically, you should nurse on one breast for approximately 10-15 minutes before switching to the other. This practice helps maintain balanced milk production and ensures both breasts are stimulated adequately.

Avoid Teats & Pacifiers :

Since your newborn is still learning to breastfeed, offering a teat or dummy can cause confusion and make it harder for them to latch correctly. Providing fluids other than breast milk can result in less frequent breastfeeding, which in turn can decrease your milk supply. Frequent and unrestricted suckling at the breast is essential to satisfy your baby and ensure your milk supply meets their needs.

Wear Nursing Bras :

Nursing bras are specifically designed to provide comfort and support while ensuring proper blood flow within the soft breast tissue, thereby reducing the risk of blocked milk ducts. Additionally, they facilitate convenient breastfeeding outside the home, removing the challenges associated with nursing in public.
