🌟 إنجاز علمي عراقي جديد
بسام علي ساجت، رئيس بايولوجيين في دائرة صحة ذي قار، يحقق إنجازًا علميًا متميزًا على المستوى الدولي، من خلال مساهمته في تطوير أداة تشخيصية مبتكرة للكشف المبكر عن سرطان عنق الرحم بالتعاون مع فريق بحثي من جامعة العلوم الماليزية (USM).
🔬 تركز البحث على تصميم مستقبلات مشابهة لمستقبلات الخلايا التائية (TCR-like antibodies) لاستهداف البروتينات الورمية الناتجة عن الإصابة بفيروس الورم الحليمي البشري (HPV) من النوعين 16 و18.
🧪 استمرت الدراسة لأكثر من أربع سنوات ونُفذت على خمس مراحل دمجت بين التجارب المختبرية والمحاكاة الحاسوبية.
📄 تم نشر النتائج الأولية لهذا البحث في مجلة Molecular Medicine Reports، وهي مجلة علمية مُحكّمة تابعة لمجموعة Spandidos العالمية. ولا تزال الأجزاء المتبقية من الدراسة قيد الإعداد للنشر.
🏆 هذا العمل يعد نقلة نوعية في مجال التشخيص والعلاج المناعي للأورام، ويُبرز كفاءة الباحثين العراقيين في المحافل العلمية الدولية.
🌟 New Scientific Achievement from Iraq 🌟
Bassam Ali Sacht, Chief Biologist at the Thi-Qar Health Directorate, has achieved a significant milestone in international medical research by contributing to the development of an innovative diagnostic tool for the early detection of cervical cancer, in collaboration with a research team from the University of Science Malaysia (USM).
🔬 The project focused on designing TCR-like antibodies to target oncoproteins expressed after infection with high-risk human papillomavirus (HPV) types 16 and 18.
🧪 The study was conducted over four and a half years, across five phases combining laboratory experiments and computational modeling.
📄 Initial results have been published in Molecular Medicine Reports, a peer-reviewed journal under the Spandidos Publishing Group. Further phases of the study are currently in preparation for publication.
🏆 This research represents a breakthrough in cancer immunodiagnostics and highlights the global scientific contributions of Iraqi researchers.
