Inside Nuragic Temple, every detail is an invitation to travel through time.

This red symbol recalls one of the most ancient sacred signs of Sardinia: the bovine horns, already present in the Neolithic Domus de Janas, often connected to the Great Mother, fertility, protection, death, rebirth, and the mystery of the womb of the earth.

The red colour evokes red ochre, a sacred pigment used in ancient ritual contexts — the colour of blood, life, transformation, and return.

This symbol did not disappear.
It continued its journey through the ages.

From the Neolithic sacred chambers to the Nuragic world, from the powerful architecture of the Giants’ Tombs to the ancestral masks and horned figures of Sardinian Carnival, the bovine symbol remained as a deep memory of the island: strength, life-force, protection, and connection with the ancient Mother.

Here, inside Nuragic Temple, this sign becomes part of the house again.

Not as decoration only, but as a doorway.
A small detail that opens a larger story.

A taste of Sardinia, shared around the table.

During the beautiful Mamy Yoga retreat at Nuragic Temple, our kitchen became a place of hands, stories, laughter, and tradition.

Together, the participants experienced a Culurgiones cooking class, learning the ancient art of preparing one of Sardinia’s most beloved dishes — from the soft filling to the delicate spighitta, the wheat-ear closing that carries the memory of home, land, and ancestral care.

At Nuragic Temple, we believe that a retreat is not only made of yoga, meditation, and sacred walks, but also of simple moments that bring people together: flour on the table, hands in the dough, local flavours, and the joy of sharing food prepared with presence.

These are the moments that make the house alive.
