Most people that are new to yoga and the practice of yoga are often mistaken by the fact that it is just a sequence of poses that will make you flexible and in some way relaxed. But.. there is so much more to it! In my classes I’d like to not only teach the different poses (asanas) of which yoga consists but also why these certain comfortable steady postures are used. Keeping in mind that there is no one size fits all, I will introduce you during the classes to varianty of different meditation techniques. This way you will be able to find out which method fits you the best.

I always find it so difficult to make time and find a place where I can be undisturbed and meditate.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
When being surrounded by this amazing kind of nature it comes naturally, but when living in a busy city still with work and stress on your mind it can feel like its impossible.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
I like to do the following steps to make it at least very inviting for myself to be pushed into this mental care.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
1: I make sure I choose a moment when I have nothing directly planned after my meditation.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
2: I find a place facing a window so I can feel the energy of the sun shining on my face.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
3: Dress warm and make a super comfortable area to sit.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
4: Set a timer so when you are starting you can let go of thoughts such as " How long have I been here? Maybe I have been here for hours or days! " Or maybe that's just me 😅⁠⠀

5: Put on noise-canceling headphones or something to get the least distracted from outside noises.⁠⠀
⁠⠀
