After months of exhausting back-and-forth with FilmFreeway, our festival was denied a public listing—without explanation. Despite fulfilling all requirements and acting in good faith, we were met with silence, vagueness, and ultimately dismissal.

We’ve now migrated our call for entries to Festhome, and we’re incredibly grateful to the amazing filmmakers who have already started submitting their work. Thank you for believing in what we’re building.

Zimt Festival 2026 – Open Call

We’re looking for films that challenge perception and tell stories that matter. Shadow work, trauma healing, transformation, consciousness — if your film dives deep, this is your space.

The first edition of Zimt Festival will be held on 20 March 2026, in Rome.
Submit your short or feature by 21 June 2025 to access our earlybird discounted fee.
