Pusten er vårt sterkeste verktøy.
Den kan regulere kroppen, roe hjertet,
og bringe oss tilbake til balanse.

Kroppen hvisker små signaler hver dag.
Vi kan overse dem – eller lytte.
Men i hastverk blir de borte.

Ekte energi kommer ikke fra å gjøre mer,
men fra å velge mindre – og det som gir næring.

UNBURDEN — a Breath Ritual for Emotional Freedom

I’ve noticed how easy it is to carry emotions that don’t even belong to me - the heaviness, the tension, the stories. Sometimes it’s subtle — like a fog that isn’t mine.

This Monday at 19:00 we gather at Fjordtunet for a 90-minute Breath Ritual to release what’s stuck — and reconnect with what’s true.


Through conscious Breathwork, we’ll send energy into the places that have been holding tension, sadness, or other people’s feelings.

One of the simplest rituals I return to every morning: warm lemon water. 🍋✨

It might sound small, but it changes everything.
Science tells us it supports hydration after a night’s sleep, stimulates digestion, and gently helps the liver with detox.
My body tells me it’s a way of starting the day with clarity and lightness — like cleansing the inside as the sun rises outside. 🌿

For me, it’s not just about the lemon.
It’s about the pause. The first sip before the world speeds up.
A reminder that my body thrives on rhythm, not rush.

So often I catch myself trying to solve life from my head.
The brain wants logic, proof, control. It wants to replay the past or plan the future.

But when I drop into my heart, everything softens.
The heart doesn’t need to overthink. It just knows. 💫

Science shows the heart has its own nervous system — sending more signals to the brain than the other way around. Spirit tells us the heart is the seat of truth, intuition, love.

When I choose to sense from my heart rather than my brain, the noise quiets. Clarity feels simple, almost obvious. 🌿

Eight days in Puglia with David Elliott cracked something open in me.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve equated love with responsibility — holding it all together, keeping everyone comfortable, making sure the energy in the room stayed balanced.

But this retreat reminded me: it’s not my job to manage other people’s equilibrium.
It’s not my responsibility to make everyone feel okay.
My only responsibility is to my own boundaries, breath, and heart.

Through breathwork, reflection, and silence, I released layers of control that twenty years of talk therapy could only touch. I felt what it means to be held by life — not because I’m managing it, but because I’m trusting it.

Coming home, I see it reflected everywhere: my husband holding space for our family, the kids grounded, the garden blooming — all without me orchestrating it.

Letting go of control doesn’t create chaos.
It creates trust, spaciousness, and love.

Here’s to the next chapter —
where I let life lead,
where I breathe before I fix,
and where I remember that being rooted in myself is enough. 🌿

One of my anchors is waiting at least 45 minutes after waking before I drink coffee. ☕️

Why? Because in the morning, cortisol naturally peaks.
If I drink coffee too early, caffeine collides with that rhythm and blocks adenosine — leaving me more tired later in the day.

And when I do drink my coffee, I make it a ritual.
🌿 I add adaptogens for nervous system support.
💫 I blend in MCT powder to steady blood sugar and give longer, smoother energy.
For me — and especially for women in peri- and menopause — this shift can mean less crashing, more balance.

It’s science. It’s a little magic. And it’s me experimenting on myself, always learning what truly sustains my energy.

✨ Sometimes regulation isn’t about doing less — it’s about doing it with intention.

Jeg deler dette ikke fordi jeg har funnet svaret, men fordi jeg lever det – hver dag. 🌱

Jeg trodde lenge at energi handlet om å tåle mer.
📅 Full kalender.
✈️ Ferier som skulle “fylle på”.
🎨 Det riktige huset med den riktige malingen.
👩‍👧 Å være den perfekte mammaen som fikser alt.

Men jeg oppdaget at alt dette bare gjorde meg mer tappet – fordi jeg alltid var i fremtiden, aldri helt her.

Ekte energi er noe annet.
Det er når jeg faktisk lander i meg selv. Når jeg lytter til kroppen og lar nervesystemet roe seg. Når jeg velger færre ting, men de som virkelig gir meg næring. 🌿

Det er ikke perfekt, men det er sant.
Og det er det jeg kaller Energikode.

What if your body remembers more than your mind ever could?

So often, people come to Breathwork not knowing exactly what they’re looking for.

And then — something unexpected happens.
Tears arrive without a clear reason. Laughter rises from nowhere. A memory long forgotten comes back. Or a deep peace settles in — the kind they haven’t felt in years.

One of the most common things I hear after a circle is:
“I didn’t even know I was carrying this… but now I feel lighter.”

That’s the wisdom of the body. 🌿
Breath doesn’t need us to explain or figure it out. It simply clears what has been waiting to be seen.

✨ This is why I hold these circles — because every release is a reminder: you are more free than you think.

We spend so much time in our heads, but the body is the one still carrying the old stories.

The coping strategies that kept us safe as children don’t always serve us at 27, 37, or 57.
That moment when you froze, hid, or laughed it off — it made sense back then. But often it keeps shaping how you meet the world long after.

EFT (tapping) helps turn down the volume on those old patterns.
By tapping on meridian points, the nervous system gets the signal: you are safe now.
And suddenly, the mind has space to think differently. 🌿

That’s what EFT is for me — freedom from the patterns I didn’t even realize I was still carrying.

Fra ro til kaos… og med på kjøpet har jeg fått hverdagsinspirasjonen tilbake! 🙏🏻
Det har vært stille fra meg, mye av grunnen er sykdom/utfordringer i familien som påvirker alt av overskudd og balanse😨.

Mental kan jeg jo ikke gi og gi uten å fylle på…derfor har jeg gått in for å fylle på med det jeg vet funker. ✨ Et avbrekk, et pusterom med inspirasjon, god mat, nok søvn og ikke minst fine folk!

Resultatet ble den 💕 fineste turen til Spania med deilig mat fra i de fineste omgivelser hos . Fjelltopp meditasjon, yoga og gode samtaler. Jeg har kjent på overskudd, inspirasjon og nye vennskap, og alt dette inspirerer til å endre ting i hverdagsrutinen her hjemme.

Siden jeg kom hjem har jeg prøvd meg på tahinibrød og mindre kaffe, jeg har fått i barna mer grønnsaker i morgensmoothien, jeg har tatt meg tid til en tekopp på terassen med lydbok på øret, jeg har pustet dypt når det er kaos og jeg har kjent etter hva jeg trenger.

Litt stille fra meg om dagen. Mye som skjer på hjemmefronten og har tatt en pause fra sosiale medier for å samle litt fokus. Men etter en travel påske, der høydepunktet var en langrennstur til Skarbua på Kvitfjell med så er jeg klar for nye utfordringer. Viktig å samle på de stille stundene når livet raser forbi. 💕 kanskje du også har kjent behov for å være litt alene i det siste?

Nutritional Therapy & how I work?

I am Mari, a nutritional therapist (dip ION) working with busy women wanting to heal their gut, get more energy and balance hormones. When we work together, you are reaching your goals and I am, supporting you in the process. Together we set an achievable goal so you can get rid of your symptoms, without giving up the food you love or becoming anti-social. We will be tracking your symptoms with every appointment, so you can see your progress and get even more motivated!

So what is Nutritional Therapy?

Nutritional Therapy is the use of foods, lifestyle, diets, fasting, supplements, functional foods and dietary counselling, assessment and support to help people reach their health goals. Health goals can range from weight management to disease symptom support, optimal sports function, eating for a healthy pregnancy and more.
