2026 courses on thyroid radiofrequency are back!

The next one will be held on June 25th-26th 2026.
The courses have been updated and enriched with contributions from an ENT surgeon, an anaesthetist, an RFA engineer and an operating room nurse.
This is why the cost has increased to €3,450.

Registration to the RFA course will be open on April 1st, 2026 and closed on May 25th, 2026.

Introducing the team!

Massimo Natale, RF equipment technician, provides support for RFA procedures by operating the ultrasound scanner and providing technical support for RF delivery. He also collaborates on any operating room requirements.

Presentiamo il team!

Massimo Natale, tecnico delle apparecchiature RF, fornisce supporto alle procedure RFA manovrando l’ecografo e supportando dal lato tecnico l’erogazione della Radiofrequenza. Inoltre collabora a qualsiasi esigenza di sala operatoria.

Introducing the team!

Davide Beghi, nurse, assists Dr Valcavi with examinations, ultrasound scans, and ultrasound-guided needle biopsy procedures. In the operating theatre, he takes care of setting up and dismantling the operating field. During RFA interventions, he assists with the ultrasound and in all other circumstances.

Presentiamo il team!

Davide Beghi, infermiere, coadiuva il Dr Valcavi nelle visite, nelle ecografie, nelle procedure agobioptiche ecoguidate. In sala operatoria provvede all’allestimento del campo operatorio e disallestimento. Durante gli interventi RFA svolge azione di assistenza all’ecografo e in ogni altra circostanza.

Introducing the team!

Dr. Enrico Banchini, anaesthetist and resuscitator, provides sedation and analgesia to conscious patients. During RFA interventions, patients are sedated but responsive. This maintains the ability to assess voice and vocal cord movements during fibrolaryngoscopy.
Analgesia ensures pain-free RFA procedures. Dr. Banchini also ensures the management of any emergencies.

Presentiamo il team !

Dr. Enrico Banchini, anestesista e rianimatore, provvede alla sedazione cosciente dei pazienti e alla analgesia. Durante gli interventi RFA i pazienti sono sedati ma reattivi. Ciò mantiene la possibilità di valutare la voce e di movimenti delle corde vocali in fibrolaringoscopia.
La analgesia garantisce procedure RFA indolori. Il Dr Banchini garantisce inoltre la gestione di ogni emergenza.

Dr. Alessandro Serblin, ENT surgeon, assesses vocal cord motility and performs fibrolaryngoscopic monitoring during ablative operations of thyroid and parathyroid nodules using RFA. His intervention prevents accidental damage to patients’ voices.

Dr. Alessandro Serblin, chirurgo otorinolaringoiatra, valuta la motilità delle corde vocali ed esegue monitoraggio fibrolaringoscopico durante gli interventi ablativi dei noduli tiroidei e paratiroidei mediante RFA. Il suo intervento previene danni accidentali alla voce dei pazienti.
