Prepectoral breast reconstruction is evolving.

Our Bovine Pricardium Membrane is leading that change.

Manual ADM wrapping introduces three challenges every surgeon knows well:

Is the "G-force" of your centrifuge damaging your graft? Research indicates that strong centrifugation can be deleterious to adipose tissue, leading to significantly higher rates of adipocyte death.

The Science: High-speed processing (900g+) can lead to up to threefold more adipocyte death compared to softer methods.

The Result: Gentler washing and filtration preserve the connective tissue and collagen fibers essential for graft adherence and neovascularization.

A strategy is only as strong as the evidence behind it!

The 2024 multicentric study by De Vita et al. represents the largest clinical series to date on prepectoral breast reconstruction assisted by an ABPM pocket.

Following 65 reconstructions over a mean follow-up of 21.3 months, the clinical data confirms a reliable path forward:

Predictable Outcomes: Not a single case of significant capsular contracture (Baker III-IV) was noted.

Safety Profile: A low major complication rate of 4.3% in a real-world patient cohort.

Efficiency: Average surgical time was just 1.42 hours.

The Integrity Initiative | Phase 2: Mechanical Protection

High-quality outcomes begin at the point of harvest. Traditional high-pressure aspiration may be causing mechanical trauma to the very cells you intend to transplant.

The Science: Adipocyte counts immediately after harvest were 47% higher when aspirated at low pressure (-250 mmHg) compared to high pressure (-760 mmHg).

The Result: Lower harvest pressure also resulted in significantly higher cell viability at day 7.
