What are you afraid will happen if you slow down?
I used to think my life was out there, in the next plan, the next goal, the next thing I could build or fix or perfect.
I’m a Type A, let’s go, make it happen person.
Slowing down felt unnatural, almost irresponsible.
Like if I stopped, everything I worked for would slip.
But here’s what I learned the hard way.
You can build a full life and still feel completely disconnected from it.
At some point, I realized I wasn’t actually living.
I was managing, producing, achieving, but the feeling I was chasing wasn’t there.
And it wasn’t because I needed to do more.
It was because I needed to step out of the noise long enough to feel something real again.
That’s what changed everything for me.
And it’s why I create these retreats.
Not to escape your life,
but to step outside the constant doing long enough to remember why you’re living it in the first place.
So I’ll ask you again,
what are you afraid will happen if you slow down? If you are feeling brave and vulnerable enough answer in the comments.
Because for me, that’s where everything meaningful actually began.
If this is hitting something in you, come experience it for yourself. DM me or comment “retreat” or click the link in bio.
