At Softcare Studios 2025 has been a great year of development of new projects, distribution of our core solutions, research and International collaborations. Several partnerships will keep growing in 2026, expanding virtual experiences we can't wait to share.
This was also the year we finalised and delivered our twin projects, a serious game and a experience, for Ace-ex Project, our first European-funded grant supported by an International consortium led by ITS Nuove Tecnologie della Vita - Giulio Natta Academy of .
We invested our expertise in XR technologies that we use to innovate to expand the opportunities for the European to learn and acquire skills in , bridging the gap between knowledge and physical presence. We're now happy to see the project being tested and growing across Europe, from Spain to Greece.
We're excited to embark on a new year with such positive energy and new ambitious goals to share with our team, partners, customers and collaborators in Italy and beyond, bringing real impact with virtual solutions!

๐ฅฝ La scorsa settimana con il nostro Valentino Megale abbiamo avuto il piacere di contribuire alla settimana di eventi dedicati all' e alle organizzati dal Collegio Universitario di Torino Renato Einaudi.
๐ Insieme a Mariachiara Tirinzoni e Giada Verona con Matteo Sgherri di , abbiamo incontrato gli studenti del Collegio ed esplorato insieme come le nuove tecnologie offrano nuove possibilitร di di spazi e corpi (oltre che di identitร e comportamento con l'intelligenza artificiale), rendendo possibili numerose applicazioni concrete, dalla al supporto terapeutico di pazienti, come nel caso delle progettualitร che portiamo avanti con il nostro network di ospedali e associazioni partner.
๐ช Grazie ancora a Lorenzo Sieve e tutta l'organizzazione per l'invito, e ai colleghi con cui abbiamo condiviso questo bel incontro sulla complessa relazione tra uomo e macchine!

Siamo contenti di annunciare che nelle scorse settimane i nuovi bundle delle nostre soluzioni in e sono stati forniti al reparto di Oncoematologia Pediatrica dell'Ospedale Infermi di .
Grazie al contributo dell' Istituto Oncologico Romagnolo - IOR, ed alla cooperazione del team medico, tra cui la Dott.ssa Roberta Pericoli e la Dott.ssa Samanta Nucci, i nostri progetti verranno impiegati per supportare i giovani pazienti nella gestione del dolore e dell'ansia.

ed il suo Ospedale SS Annunziata, grazie all'impegno e supporto di Stella Marina APS e LWBProject, รจ da anni tra i principali centri che hanno impiegato il nostro progetto TOMMI nell'ambito dell'oncologia pediatrica.
รจ piรน di un prodotto, รจ un approccio innovativo che facendo uso della tecnologia punta a ripensare l'esperienza terapeutica dei giovani pazienti aiutando loro ed il personale medico a gestire meglio stati di stress, ansia e percezione del dolore. Ed รจ un approccio che diventa realtร grazie alla costante collaborazione di psicologi, volontari e clinici.
E' stata lanciata adesso una nuova raccolta fondi della Fondazione Puglia per supportare ulteriormente il lavoro di questi professionisti, ancora una volta frutto del lavoro del team Tommi e i suoi amici.

๐จ๐ฟ ๐ช๐บ This week, we had the pleasure of attending the Ace-ex Project Design Meeting in , meeting the consortium of partners from 9 EU countries focused on supporting the future professionals in and in agriculture.
๐ฅฝ As technical partners of the project, with Softcare Studios we brought our expertise in tech and developing 2 deliverables, we finally had the opportunity to share in practice with the partners:
๐น 2 experiences simulating waste management and water purification, providing spatial and interactive sessions for professionals for remote learning-by-doing, useful to scale education beyond locality and availability of physical logistics;
๐น a strategic web-based embedding the principles of circular economy and designed to help players learn in practice the complex intersection between financial growth, sustainable resource management and long-term impact.
๐๐ We want to thank our distributed team, Oliver D'Adda (VR design and development) with Walter Vitaletti (3D modeling), and Brunella Botte (game design) with Andrea Leganza (game development), and Valentino Megale with Bruno Lenzi on the project management side. It's thanks to your coordination and commitment these projects were delivered to the Consortium, now ready for the upcoming pilot testing.

Softcare Studios is a digital health startup focused to improve the quality of life of patients during therapy and optimize healthcare interventions, developing innovative products and services based on immersive technologies (VR/AR) and data tracking.
Our Mission is to improve the therapy experience of patients supporting their mental well being, which deeply impacts their cognitive, emotional, social and motor conditions, and is significantly influenced by what environments they perceive and how they spend their time during their challenging journey.
Our Goal is to develop and provide a suite of immersive content optimized to support different target patients (pediatrics, adults, elders) in a variety of clinical settings and extra clinical settings (anxiety/pain management, rehabilitation, palliative care, mental well being, isolation/confinement).
Our first project is TOMMI, a VR experience designed to reduce anxiety and pain in pediatric patients, involving both children and their caregivers through inclusive gamified mechanics, oriented to improve patients adherence to therapy and facilitate the work routine of the medical staff. TOMMI is provided to children (7-14 years old and mainly hospitalized) undergoing stressful medical treatments in oncology, dentistry, orthopedics, pre-diagnostics and ADHD. Its game mechanics are developed to both engage/distract children f rom unpleasant emotions of therapy and test/train their cognitive, sensory and motor performances. Data collection features are under development, in order to provide objective metrics useful to track patientsโ stress profile in time and optimize the intervention. TOMMI is currently used in 5 hospitals in Italy and 1 hospital in the US, with ongoing clinical pilots expected to release public results during the second half of 2020.
Since its foundation in 2017, Softcare Studios played a growing active role in the digital health and immersive technologies industries, building its International network in collaboration with key innovation stakeholders such as Merck Accelerator (Germany), TMCx (Texas Medical Center in Houston, US), Accelerace (Denmark), Startupbootcamp and the Italian Trade Agency (UK). In 2018, Softcare Studios has been selected as the best e-health startup in Europe by the European Commission (Startup Europe Awards in Bulgaria), won the Pfizer Healthcare Challenge (Germany) and actively collaborated with pharma companies like Merck and Roche (commercial partnership with Roche Italy in 2019).
