Today, residents at Brandywine Princeton by Monarch enjoyed a fascinating lifelong learning experience presented by The Raptor Trust of Somerset County. The educational program, “All About Owls,” gave residents the opportunity to learn about the many different owl species found throughout New Jersey, their habitats, eating habits, and the important role they play in our ecosystem.
Although Penny, the beloved 14-year-old live owl scheduled to appear, was unfortunately under the weather today, the afternoon still brought a very special feathered guest — a sweet baby falcon named Oly, who quickly captured everyone’s hearts. Residents were delighted by the up-close visit and enjoyed asking questions and learning more about these incredible birds of prey.
Programs like these continue to bring meaningful lifelong learning, nature, and hands-on educational experiences directly to our residents, creating moments of wonder, curiosity, and connection. The Raptor Trust
