Looking back… it’s kind of hilarious 😂

I spent years chasing ‘better’ 👉
perfect abs, perfect rules, perfect routines.

Meanwhile, I was already strong, healthy, and… fine.

These mindset tweaks changed everything:
less urgency, less bans, more trust in myself.

Even though my belly isn’t ripped or chiselled…
I’m happier in my body than ever. How bloody brilliant is that !

Peace over perfection. Always 🩷

Sometimes you don’t realise how much you need fresh air…. until you’re finally breathing properly again.

A weekend in the Irish mountains with the lads from the gym - walking, laughing, talking nonsense, no rush, no noise.

Just space.
Just nature.
Just being human for a bit.

And in that moment, I realised… I need more of this.
More laughter. More air. More mountains. More time outside.

Strength isn’t just built under a barbell.
Some of it comes from slowing down… letting your head clear… letting nature touch your soul.

The gym builds the body.
Nature builds the soul.
Definitely planning to do this more 🩷 ✅

Looking back at my fat-loss journey 😅

Honestly… looking back makes me chuckle
There I was, completely baffled, wondering why nothing was shifting -
peanut butter, smoothies, extra protein.…
all the ‘healthy’ stuff I thought would be magic.

Now I can laugh at my 6 classic “oops” moments:
✅ Eating too fast
✅ Forgetting healthy foods have calories
✅ Peanut butter by the spoonful … enough said
✅ Overdoing protein without balance
✅ Being unprepared
✅ Chasing perfection instead of balance

The funny thing? Once I stopped overthinking, slowed down, prepped a little and embraced a boring but joyful routine - things finally started clicking.

Friday nights in with A glass of wine if I fancy, Saturday morning gym, chewing my food properly…
It’s not perfect, it’s balanced. And it works for me. 💛
