Sunday maybe a day of rest but we have been out delivering the Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK Aquatic Therapy pool Rescue Light Award for Physio therapists .

The course covers :
Health and Safey Law, Pool operation proedures, induction and training, Policies and Procedures, Intervention Rescue and Emmergency Action , CPR and the use of the Automated External Defibrillator.

I thought I would share the link below from the Royal Lifesaving Society, as it is important for a business to first establish the amount of first aid provision they require which will depend on the hazards and risks of within the workplace.

Employers are legally responsible for ensuring appropriate first aid arrangements are given to employees so that they can receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work.

A first aid needs assessment should be completed to calculate the appropriate first aid provisions a Business needs to provide.

We have had a fantastic morning with Jersey Tri Club at the Lido .We covered the sequence for Adult Drowning Cpr, Sudden Collapse the use of an AED, before taking to the water to learn how to treat a swimmer with cramp, swim failure and how to turn an unconscious casualty over in the water but remembering firstly to never to put ourselves in danger to help others always calling 999 and asking do the Coastguard .
The Jersey Tri Club are donating a voluntary payment to the wonderful Philip's Footprints , A huge thank you to Danny and the team at the Lido for the floor space and to my amazing support team Ailie Brown and Gerry Leonard
