Our executive leaders, Managing Director Jorge Martinez and Group Managing Director Francisco Aguilera, joined students at St Elizabeth Technical High School for a hands-on cement mixing demonstration, showcasing our commitment to community partnership and education.

They were also on hand to present a trailer of cement to the school.

Part of the donation will support STETHS and three additional schools in the parish, while the remainder will be distributed to residents rebuilding their homes through the St Elizabeth Municipal Corporation’s Poor Relief Department.

We continue to help Jamaica rebuild stronger.

On Thursday, we delivered a trailer of cement to St Elizabeth Technical High School to support repairs, while the St Elizabeth Municipal Corporation will distribute the remainder to families rebuilding their homes.

This is part of our wider relief efforts across Jamaica, including support in Woodside, Clarendon; New River, St. Elizabeth and Darliston, Westmoreland, as well as assistance to our hardware partners.

More than fifty Carib Cement employees have volunteered on the ground, offering hands-on assistance.

Regionally and globally, our TCL Cluster colleagues and our parent company Cemex continue to strengthen these efforts through fundraising and relief initiatives.

We remain committed to our mission to "Build a Greater Jamaica" and to help communities recover and rebuild.

We also provided the Boys’ Home with a new water tank and delivered medical supplies to the Darliston Health Centre, all in support of our Hurricane Melissa relief efforts.

Hurricanes meet their match in mangroves. 🌪️🌿

With cutting-edge research from our parent company’s research and development hub in Switzerland, we’re developing floating concrete structures to expand mangrove habitats and defend coastlines from erosion and flooding.

It was our pleasure to welcome Minister of Industry, Investment and Commerce, Senator the Hon. Aubyn Hill, to our facility today.

As a key player in the rebuilding efforts following the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa, his visit was both timely and encouraging.

As Jamaica rebuilds, we were proud to showcase the resilience of our team and the strength of our operations. The visit highlighted our capacity to meet the growing demand for cement as reconstruction efforts continue across the island.

Together, we’ll build back stronger — for our people and our nation. 💪🇯🇲
