It was a historical moment yesterday with the Cannabis Licensing Authority (CLA) issuing the first 2 licenses with ours being the Tier 1 Processing license.
This is a culmination of over 3 years of planning. We could not do this without the help of family and friends. The help and input from everyone to start this company from the ground up even if it was listening to me ramble about the cannabis industry - Thank You!
Thanks to the CLA, the Board of Directors, Chairman Hyacinth Lightbourne and CEO Greg Douglas for their steadfast and diligent work in getting us to this stage of issuing licenses. We are eager to hear of more licenses being issued and for all entities to work together to keep Jamaica on the forefront of this burgeoning industry.
There is more work to be done being a part of this global phenomenon that will be for the greater good of society. Lets not forget where we are coming from, those who have pushed this agenda to where it is now, those who were and are still oppressed by the prohibition and patients that are in need of this medicine and therapeutics. We must keep pushing ahead.
