Jamaica 🇯🇲! Jamaica 🇯🇲! A real place, even when you think sumptn not happening, the happening is into the thing that is NOT happening;

This whole experience was a thing! But we found the grace in it all to be grateful, all when the servers start hiding the plates 🤣 ;

After a whole year of a grueling schedule with children and parents, we take the pause graciously.

It's been a week!!!!

Every teacher I know is tired this time of year and caan' wait for the term or semester to end, summer can't come soon enough as summer school emerges.

It's CSEC, end of term tests, PEP results, grades, letters of recommendation, nuff Principals go into hiding too 😀, it's just a rough time of year. Not to mention it's promotion season, graduation time for Lower, Middle and High Schools aaaand the rehearsals, prep and ex*****on are ooon!

College grades come in too;

The realities of the years or year of work come home to roost;

When 🥴 my eyes start crossing with all that comes to my door, I remember my 'whys', why do I do this again lol?

To all who mother, the daily grind of it, the lifetime commitment of it all.... ; the fulfillment of it all and sometimes even the heartbreaks of it all, it's all in the mix, but if a child turns and says 'thank you mom', then that's it....a simple thing, that can mean the world!

Life is the adventure! So live!💞

It's been a whirlwind of a weekend taking a break from the grueling schedule....it was soooo hard making the leap to take these 4 days ..and really TAKE THEM...but done! Done and ✔️ done!

It's also a part of living what you impart....take a break...take it easy...breathe ....eat some chocolate 😆;

The children always find their way to the centre of my world and I never do mind as it's allll good!❤️❤️💯💥

It's Friday, Teee to the Geee to Iiiii Fffffff!😍❤️💯💥

It has been quite the week, not everything can be mentioned in words...even pictures but I have the privilege of serving the students and staff ❤️💯💞 and THAT is a Mike drop lol!

When Friday comes I don't even remember Monday ( unless I really need to 😀) but it's a real space that allows our students to BE while BE...COMING!!!

From Math mindfulness to serving the homeless and indigent ....Easter egg hunt...ecetera...ecetera...ecetera...

So off we go...have a great weekend!
