🩺✨ Big News!

The Jamaica Cancer Society extends heartfelt thanks to the Ministry of Health & Wellness and the National Health Fund (NHF) for their kind consideration and pledge of support toward the acquisition of a new mammography machine. πŸ’—

This gesture brings us one step closer to achieving our goal of a new mammography machine.

We are still appealing to corporate sponsors, individuals, the Jamaican diaspora, and members/friends of the Society to join us and pledge to this vital effort. Every mickle makes a muckle! πŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸ’—

πŸš΄πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ’— Ride for Life: A Gift of Hope! πŸ’—πŸš΄πŸ½β€β™€οΈ

The Jamaica Cancer Society is honoured to be the beneficiary of the inspiring Ride for Life Initiative, a powerful campaign championed by TR Sports & Adventure and the American Friends of Jamaica (AFJ) to raise funds in support of early detection.

We’ve been invited to a special handover ceremony on Friday, October 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Consulate General of Jamaica, 300 East 42nd Street, New York, where the AFJ and partners will present proceeds from the initiative which raised over J$1.5 million.

The Ride for Life campaign was founded by Tim Ralph, YGB Alumni Honoree and Media & Marketing Consultant, in honour of his late wife Tomeka, whose brave battle with breast cancer continues to inspire this movement of hope and action.

πŸ’Œ RSVP: rsvp@theafj.org

Together, we ride for love. We ride for life. We ride for a cure. πŸ’—
