Harvester Communty Tabernacle of Praise have been serving the community since 2014, all of thier services are rendered free of cost to both the church and outside of the church community. The extensive amount of services rendered ongoing are; praying for the sick on the streets, home visits for the elderly and sickly, providing groceries drop off at the homes who are unable to get it themselvesespecially those who were hospitalised, working with families whose children runs away from home and is living on the streets, school supplies for single parents with multiple children, providing financial/food/clothes help to the homeless children on the streets, guidance counselling for young people drop out of school or who finished high school is very discouraged and very unsure of thier future, parents-children counseling especially when the parents are having great trouble with the youth/child, family counseling for different abuse or mental health issues, youth , provide counseling for young women who just have babies and are needing counsel/support for postpartum....The church has been a great help and support for the community all monies come out of the pockets of Pastor Colin Whyte his wife and thier adult children....sometimes the needs of the community and church are placed first before the family, when their children were younger they complained that help is going to others when they needed the help, both Pastors used thier personal/earnings monies and they themselves needed help. They had received counsel regarding using thier finance to financially supporting others in this degree but they see it as thier calling and heart beat, they refuse to stop.
The vehicle is soo neede to continue with the ministry and is seeking help to do so.
Daily travelling for us, gettin from place to place, especially hours on the bus, train has been quite a problem. From home visits, counseling sessions ministry business apointments, it has gotten challenging with age to fill the obligations while...
