West Haven Children's Home was established in 1986 & caters to the mentally & physically disabled, providing care, medical & therapeutic treatment, as well as training for the children & young adults in a loving and caring environment

1. Solar system pledged by the Adija Palmer Foundation delivered, installed and fully functional.

2. Kiwanis Cottage roofing Materials have been purchased by Mr. Morse from JRM and delivered .

3. 5 nurses, 1 doctor and other volunteer workers working on cottage 4

4. Water was delivered on Sunday by Bicarie Brothers and another truckload of water was.received on Wednesday.

5. The office was worked on today by the volunteers

6. Imperial Optical from Kingstown visited and brought donations.

7. Visitors came from Michigan called Northpoint associated with Jamaica Link

8. Lyn & Mark Fenster visited from Rotary Club

9. Doctor visited and wrote prescription for some wards.

10. (4) nurses came and did oral cleaning for the wards.

We thank the Lord for his mercy and continue blessing towards us👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Recovery efforts continue.
Daily arrival of food and drinking water from World Central Kitchen.
Food items received courtesy of Children with Disabilities Fund International
A team from the Child Protection and Family Services Agency (CPFSA) visited the home this week.
Material for the replacement of the roof of Cottage 2 received courtesy of Mission Jamaica. Work will commence in the coming week.
Beds received through the efforts of
Water received by truck from the National Water Commission (NWC), Ms. Hall, WCK and Bicarie Brothers.

We received supplies from Food For The Poor
We were paid a visit by Samaritan's Purse and received tarps and solar lights by helicopter delivery. A delivery of bottled water was also shared with the adjoining community of Lethe Village

We are in need of drinking water, food, toiletries and gasoline for the generator.
The roof of the kitchen needs some sheets of zinc to be replaced and it can be functional.
That is today's priority.
Fraye, Kiwanis and Hart Cottages roofs gone.
Everyone is in the other two cottages.
Cleaning up some of the debris today to fence of the damaged sections so the kids can have some movement in the yard
