Very blessed and happy to say we were able to give away 18 free mammograms this year!!!

Am truly sad that our monthly meetings are over (for now) but SOS is still alive in heart and in supporting as many women as we can yearly with a free mammogram and taxifare to get there!!! Thank you GOD yet again for the support of such awesome people that make it possible to help me help those keep a check!!

Sisters of survival , meetings are on hold for now, as I am in the states for now...but I am still giving at least 20 free mammograms a year to my SOS, and other in need who have no medical insurance( around Oct. every year) ...Jenifer Miller-Knight of Sav. is my contact person in my absence, also Polly Ruddock of Petersfield...Radiology West in Montego bay is our place to redeem the FREE mammogram vouchers...a HUGE, LOUD shout out to
Dr. Konrad Kirlew of Radiology West, Montego bay for providing SOS group with such a great opportunity to receive a digital, low dose mammogram at such a fair rate for providing the vouchers to others.......you are what giving back to one's community is all about....standing up taking my hat off to you my friend....you are truly appreciated by many....much respect....Shirley

Well another great fundraiser, we are able to give away 20 free mammograms this year as opposed to last year's 10, GOD is so great, I am not always on here, as I don't have Internet in my yard in Jamaica , but I truly want to thank my sister Lorena for all her support...I could not do it w/o her and her wonderful group of friends CALLING ALL ANGELS HERE ON EARTH.....what a huge blessing......we are able to also continue on with the school uniform program, water tanks in yards that don't have water, and now looking into a way to be able to help those that cannot read, learn to read so we can help them obtain employment.....yes Father GOD thank you for all you do........

am anxiously awaiting my return to jamrock.....have other things going on as well as my "SOS" breast cancer support group....i am going to start a community garden....with much thanks to Lorena Dugger my sister who supports me wholeheartedly .....this garden will help feed the hungry children in my area and the extra produce will be sold to others at a great discounted rate and the $ used to help send those children to school who cannot always afford to go...GOD is great....and i cannot praise him nor thank him enough....!!!!

SOS if very proud to announce the great success we had with our fundraiser to help sister Gloria Lawson (from Cave) with her medicine...thank you GOD....and thank you Lorena Dugger for helping make all this possible without you we could of never done it......thanks for all you donated it was truly a blessing....and we raised enough money to get sister Gloria her medicine.....GOD is great....i prayed on it and i claimed we would reach our goal....and know what? we went just above our goal....and were truly blessed.....so very , very thankful........and my hat off to all the people in Sav and in the westmoreland area that contributed to a most wonderful cause....THANK YOU for your support....and again thank you to the Mouchette family at Royal Pharmacy....wow you people are truly awesome....thank you thank you.....
