Our Story
The Italian Hospital, Amman was established by Dr. Fausto Tesio in 1926, in the heart of the Capital Amman. It is the first hospital in the Eastern Emirate of Jordan and one of the leading institutions of the National Association for the assistance to Italian Missionaries (ANSMI). By this, it is considered one of the leading non-profit charities based in Rome, which was established to support and promote voluntary and charitable work around the world, according to its founders’ vision.
The hospital operates in Jordan under the umbrella of the Ministry of Health. Since 90 years the 90-bed general hospital has been receiving hundreds of thousands of Jordanian, Arab and foreign patients providing them with the best standard medical and charitable services.
