時間をかけること。

本当は“日常”の中で育っていく。

特別なカリキュラムじゃなくて、
何気ない毎日の中で、
自分で考えて、やってみる。

教えないことも、教育。ー

つい、教えたくなる。
早くできるようにしてあげたくなる。
答えを出せばすぐ終わる。

でも、あえて教えないことも大切。
⁡
すぐに答えを出さず、
一緒に考える時間をつくる。
⁡
できることでも任せてみる。
失敗しても、すぐには手を出さない。
⁡
失敗したって良いじゃない。
笑い話にしたって良いじゃない。

その時間の繰り返しの中で、
子どもや若者は少しずつ考え、
自分の力で、自ら動くようになる。

教えることよりも、
どう関わるか。ー

to help them do things faster.
Telling answers would be done faster.

育てているのは、野菜だけじゃないー
⁡
最初は、土に触るのも嫌がっていた子も、
やりたいやりたいと言っていた子も、
やっているうちに自分から畑に向かうように。

うまくいかないことも、
思い通りにならないこともある。
⁡
それでも、何度も農や人と関わる中で、
少しずつ、自分で考え、動くようになっていく。
⁡
大人やできる人が教えるのではなく、
「関わり」の中で自ら学びお互いに育っていく。

それが、ここで起きている変化ー。

We’re not just growing vegetables.ー

A child who once didn’t even want to touch the soil
And children who has wanted to join farming
now walks into the field on their own.

Things don’t always go well.
Not everything goes as planned.

But through repeated connection,

We, adult and who can do anything, don’t teach.
They grow through relationships each other.
