毎月、副院長先生が第1月曜日の朝礼で素敵な着物姿を披露してくださります✨
今月は袷(あわせ)に小紋(こもん)の柄でとても秋を感じるお着物でした👘
袷（あわせ）とは、着物の「裏地付き」の仕立て方を指し、表地と裏地の二枚仕立てで構成されます。裏地があるため生地に厚みと保温性があり、重厚感のある見た目となるのが特徴です。着用時期は主に秋から春（10月～翌5月）だそうです！
副院長先生も着物を着ると姿勢も自然と伸び、草履と足袋を履くことで靴よりも足の踏ん張りがあって歩きやすいとよく仰っています！
古来から伝わる日本の文化の良さと足の外科に特化した病院としてこれからも紹介していけたらと思います😊

🌸 Kimono Day at Our Morning Assembly 🌸
Every month, our Deputy Director brightens the first Monday morning assembly with her beautiful kimono attire✨
This month, she wore an awase kimono with a komon pattern — a lovely design that truly captures the feeling of autumn🍁
An awase kimono refers to a lined kimono made with both outer and inner fabrics.
Its double-layered structure gives it warmth and a graceful, refined appearance,
making it perfect for the cooler seasons from October through May.
The Deputy Director often shares how wearing a kimono naturally encourages good posture,
and how walking in zōri sandals and tabi socks provides a stronger, more balanced footing than regular shoes👣
As a hospital specializing in foot and ankle care,
we’re delighted to share not only the importance of foot health
but also the beauty of Japan’s traditional culture👘
