先日まで香港から研修でジェシカ先生が3週間いらっしゃいました✨
足の外科手術の見学を中心に高尾医師とのディスカッションも含め、有意義な機会とありました🎗
これからも多くの海外医師と連携し、足の外科発展に努めて参りたいと思います😊

Dr. Jessica was here for three weeks on a training program from Hong Kong until recently.
Focusing on observing foot surgery and including discussions with Dr. Takao, it proved a valuable opportunity.
We intend to continue collaborating with many overseas physicians and strive for the advancement of foot surgery.

It was a great pleasure to see the familiar faces of doctors who previously trained at our hospital, all doing so well. 😊

本日、消防署の職員の方が当院にて救命救急講習を開催していただきました。
いつ起きるかわからない有事の際に医療従事者として誰よりも理解し、行動できる力を持つため、とても大切な機会となりました。
木更津消防清川分署の消防職員の皆様に御礼申し上げます🙇‍♂️

Today, firefighters from the Kisarazu Fire Department’s Kiyokawa Branch conducted a lifesaving emergency training session at our clinic.
It was a valuable opportunity for us as healthcare professionals to deepen our understanding and strengthen our ability to take immediate action in unexpected emergencies.
We sincerely thank all the firefighters from the Kisarazu Fire Department Kiyokawa Branch for their guidance and support. 🙇‍♂️

先日、診療時間外を利用して、「フレイル体験会」を開催しました✨
天候が悪い中、6名の方がご参加くださりました！

簡易フレイル検査として、
・通常歩行速度テスト
・TUGテスト
・片脚立位テスト
・30秒立ち上がりテスト
・握力テスト
を実施し、J-CHS基準のチェックを追加して実施しました！

現在の身体機能を知り、何に気をつけたら良いのか、結果をフィードバックしていくことで「見える化」につながり、今後の健康と向き合う機会に少しでもなっていただけたら嬉しいです😊

皆さんの笑顔と健康をサポートできる活動をこれからも続けていきたいと思います🍀*゜

✨We recently held a “Frailty Experience Session” after hospital hours!
Despite the bad weather, six participants kindly joined us.

As part of a simple frailty assessment, we conducted:
• Normal walking speed test
• TUG (Timed Up and Go) test
• One-leg standing test
• 30-second chair stand test
• Grip strength test
and also checked according to the J-CHS criteria.

By helping participants understand their current physical condition and providing feedback on what to focus on, we hope this became an opportunity for everyone to “visualize” their health and reflect on their well-being.

We’ll continue working to support everyone’s smiles and good health! 🍀✨

フィリピンからAnna先生、長野から樋口先生と小川先生が当院CARIFAS足の外科センターへお越しくださいました✨
高尾医師による診察や触診技術、手術などを見学され、ディスカッションもされています！
当院では足の外科に特化した手術を年間約500件行っており、海外医師への教育機関としての受け入れも積極的に行っています😊
これからも国内や海外で足の外科を発展させていくために臨床・研究・教育の三本柱を充実させていきます🍀*゜

👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️ International Exchange at CARIFAS Foot Surgery Center
We were honored to welcome Dr. Anna from the Philippines, along with Dr. Higuchi and Dr. Ogawa from Nagano, to our CARIFAS Foot Surgery Center! ✨
They observed Dr. Takao’s clinical consultations, palpation techniques, and surgeries, followed by in-depth discussions.

At our center, we perform approximately 500 foot surgeries per year, specializing exclusively in foot and ankle care. We also actively welcome international physicians for training and education. 😊

We’ll continue to strengthen our three pillars — clinical practice, research, and education — to advance the field of foot surgery both in Japan and around the world. 🍀

毎月、副院長先生が第1月曜日の朝礼で素敵な着物姿を披露してくださります✨
今月は袷(あわせ)に小紋(こもん)の柄でとても秋を感じるお着物でした👘

袷（あわせ）とは、着物の「裏地付き」の仕立て方を指し、表地と裏地の二枚仕立てで構成されます。裏地があるため生地に厚みと保温性があり、重厚感のある見た目となるのが特徴です。着用時期は主に秋から春（10月～翌5月）だそうです！

副院長先生も着物を着ると姿勢も自然と伸び、草履と足袋を履くことで靴よりも足の踏ん張りがあって歩きやすいとよく仰っています！
古来から伝わる日本の文化の良さと足の外科に特化した病院としてこれからも紹介していけたらと思います😊

🌸 Kimono Day at Our Morning Assembly 🌸

Every month, our Deputy Director brightens the first Monday morning assembly with her beautiful kimono attire✨
This month, she wore an awase kimono with a komon pattern — a lovely design that truly captures the feeling of autumn🍁

An awase kimono refers to a lined kimono made with both outer and inner fabrics.
Its double-layered structure gives it warmth and a graceful, refined appearance,
making it perfect for the cooler seasons from October through May.

The Deputy Director often shares how wearing a kimono naturally encourages good posture,
and how walking in zōri sandals and tabi socks provides a stronger, more balanced footing than regular shoes👣

As a hospital specializing in foot and ankle care,
we’re delighted to share not only the importance of foot health
but also the beauty of Japan’s traditional culture👘

We look forward to seeing more of her elegant kimono styles
and to enjoying another fulfilling month together🌿

海外医師

当院では足の外科スペシャリストである高尾昌人医師のもとへ多くの海外医師が手術見学を含めた臨床研修に来日し、研鑽されています✨
先日までDr.Ying Liが研修に来日しており、高尾医師と素敵な写真を送ってくれました✨

当院では医師、看護師、理学療法士、コメディカルスタッフがシームレスかつ高水準の医療提供を常に心がけています！
海外からの研修受け入れもこの8年で約50人に達し、これからも日本だけでなく海外との医療交流を進めていきたいと思います✨
「世界一ありがとうが溢れる病院」を目指し、常に成長し実現していける環境にみんなで取り組む病院です🍀*゜

Overseas Doctors

Many international doctors come to Japan for clinical training under foot surgery specialist Dr. Masato Takao, including surgical observation, to further their studies. ✨
Dr. Ying Li was in Japan for training until recently and sent us a nice picture with Dr. Takao ✨.

Our doctors, nurses, physical therapists, and paramedical staff are always committed to providing seamless, high-quality medical care!
We have accepted approximately 50 trainees from overseas over the past eight years, and we hope to continue to promote medical exchange not only with Japan but also with other countries. ✨
Our goal is to be "the hospital filled with gratitude the most in the world," and we all work together to create an environment where we can constantly grow and achieve this. 🍀*゜

2025 木更津やっさいもっさい

今年も重城病院として、やっさいもっさいに参加しました✨
いつもより暑くはなかったですが、会場のボルテージと熱気はかなり熱かったです😊
いつもとは違ったスタッフの顔も見れてとても良いイベントでした✨

This year, once again, we participated in the Yassai Mossai Festival as Shiroki Hospital ✨
Although it wasn’t as hot as usual, the excitement and energy at the venue were incredibly high 😊
It was a wonderful event where we could see a different side of our staff than usual ✨

本日、薬剤師の佐々木さんによるミニ勉強会を開催致しました✨
今月は便秘症について学んでおり、薬剤についてお話いただきました！
多くの薬があり、患者さんからの聞き取りなどから適切な処方がされていることを改めて感じました✨

Today, we held a mini study session led by pharmacist Mr. Sasaki✨
This month, we have been learning about constipation, and he gave us a talk on medications related to it.
We were once again reminded that there are many types of medications available, and that appropriate prescriptions are made based on careful interviews with patients✨
