米国性科学協会（AASECT）認定セクソロジスト、厚生労働省認定性健康指導士。
性科学、男性医学、ジェンダー医療を専門とし、臨床・研究の両面から人間の性と健康を包括的に探究している。
2022年より、NHK健康番組「男性医学の新常識」の医学監修を担当。正確かつ科学的な性情報の普及に力を注ぎ、性にまつわる偏見の解消と、誰もが自分らしく生きられる社会の実現を目指している。
