修士2回生の牧田萌菜さんの論文｢Changes in Knowledge and Compliance with Pitch Count Recommendations Among Youth Baseball Coaches: A Cross-Sectional Comparison at Two Time Points｣がOpen Access j Sports Medicine誌に掲載されました。
日本では子供の野球肘を防ぐために、投球数制限を設けておりますが、この10年間における知識と遵守率について比較したものです。知識については増加したものの、実践については十分とは言えない結果となり、その背景について分析した論文です。もともととは行武君がはじめ、大西さんが10年目の調査を行い、牧田さんが論文としてまとめております。バトンは引き継がれますね。
Moe Makita, a second-year master's student, titled ‘Changes in Knowledge and Compliance with Pitch Count Recommendations Among Youth Baseball Coaches: A Cross-Sectional Comparison at Two Time Points’ has been published in the Open Access journal Sports Medicine.
In Japan, pitch count limits are in place to prevent baseball elbow injury in children. This study compares knowledge and compliance rates over the past decade. While knowledge has increased, compliance remains insufficient, and the paper analyses the underlying reasons. The research was initially conducted by Mr. Yukutake, followed by Ms. Onishi's 10-year survey, and finally compiled into a paper by Ms. Makita. The baton has been passed on.
