Introducing The Uplifters — a brand new musical project led by Jay Crystall (guitar & vocals), with David Pozo (nyabinghi drum & percussion), and myself, Brian (bass & percussion). Come join us this Saturday evening at Soco Kyoto for Ska, dancehall, reggae, and deep dub vibrations into the evening!

Plus!!! ..... A Jamaican chef will be coming in from Osaka and he’ll be bringing some island vibes to the kitchen (& we heard it will be a vegetarian-friendly menu), while visual wonders and escapades by Amu shall complete your sensual journey.
