On social media, baby sleep often looks perfect.

In real life, there are short naps, night wakings, and messy phases.

And still… your child may be sleeping exactly as their brain needs right now.

Good enough sleep is good enough. 🩷 (Versión en español en el primer comentario) I’m here to help, send me a message or book a free consultation in here ❤️➡️: https://oyasumibebe.wixsite.com/main babysleep sleeptips crianzarespetuosa maternidad consultoradesueñoinfantil sueñoinfantil sueñoinfantilrespetuoso beingamom sermadre

If your baby was sleeping well and suddenly everything fell apart — naps shortened, night wakings increased, early mornings started — it’s rarely random.
Sleep disruptions are often linked to transitions: Nap transitions, developmental leaps (often called “regressions”), shifting wake windows, etc. 😴

As children grow, their sleep needs reorganize.
If we don’t adjust gently with them, sleep can feel chaotic.😵‍💫

This isn’t about rigid schedules.

It’s about understanding the pattern your child’s brain naturally follows.

Inside my Schedules & Sleep Regressions guide, I walk step by step through transitions — from 4 naps to no naps, without extremes.🩷

Because sleep doesn’t fall apart overnight.
And it doesn’t come back overnight either.

When a child resists bedtime or wakes repeatedly at night, it’s easy to assume they are being difficult.

But children don’t fight sleep on purpose.

Night wakings are often linked to overtiredness, developmental changes, separation anxiety, or emotional overload from the day. 🌤️

Sleep is not separate from their world — it reflects it.

When we shift from “How do I stop this?” to “What is my child trying to tell me?” everything changes.🩷.

Sleep rarely improves all at once.

When your child is waking at 4:30am, resisting naps, and having night wakings… it’s tempting to fix the early morning first. ☕️🥱

But sleep follows a natural order.

In most children, it stabilizes like this:

• Bedtime
• First half of the night
• Second half of the night
• Naps
• Early mornings (usually last)

Bedtime sets the tone.

Trying to fix 4am wakeups before bedtime is solid is like adjusting the roof while the foundation is still moving.

If sleep feels chaotic, you may be solving the wrong piece first.📝 (Versión en Español en el primer comentario).

If naps are falling apart…

If bedtime suddenly feels harder…

If early mornings or regressions have you questioning everything…

This one is for you 🤍

✨ Schedules & Sleep Regressions Made Simple is now available (English & Spanish).

This is my most complete guide: a clear, step-by-step way to understand:

— age-appropriate wake windows

— how to structure naps gently

— what nap transitions really look like

— how to handle regressions without panic

— how to follow the natural order of sleep changes

— when to adjust… and when to hold steady

No rigid routines.

No pressure to be perfect.

Just patterns, rhythm, and understanding.

Because most sleep “problems” aren’t problems, they’re transitions.

And you deserve to feel steady while your child grows.

If you’re tired of guessing, this guide will give you a map.

You’re not doing it wrong. You just need clarity. 💙

When nights stretch on,
it’s easy to believe sleep should look different by now.

But babies don’t sleep in straight lines,
and parents don’t need to be perfect to help them rest.

Love shows up in the trying.
Even on the hardest nights.🩷🌙

Babies don’t “fight sleep.”
They’re signaling something.

Tired signs (time to sleep soon):
✨ Staring into space
✨ Losing interest in toys
✨ Soft fussing / gentle yawns
✨ Quieter, slower movements

Overtired signs (window was too long):
💛 Sudden crying
💛 Back arching
💛 Hyperactive kicking
💛 Frantic rubbing of eyes

You’re not failing if you miss the cues, nobody gets it right every time.
You’re learning each other.
And you’re doing beautifully.

✨ Why early bedtimes are magic — especially after the holidays ✨

January often comes with a tired little body:
late nights, skipped naps, excitement, travel, grandparents, cousins, overstimulation…

And suddenly bedtime feels harder than usual.

Here’s something gentle that actually works:

Early bedtimes are not a punishment: they’re a nervous-system reset.

When children are overtired, their body releases stress hormones that make sleep harder, not easier.
A bedtime just 15–30 minutes earlier can:

reduce bedtime battles

prevent night wakings

help naps stabilize

support emotional regulation

stop the “overtired cycle” before it snowballs

It’s a small change with a big impact, and it doesn’t require any strict routines.

If your child is acting cranky, “wired,” clingy, or struggling to fall asleep after the holidays…
try an early bedtime for 3–4 nights.

You may be surprised how quickly things start to settle again.
Your child isn’t “off schedule” they’re rebalancing after a busy season. 💛

You are exactly the mama your baby needs.
Not when you feel calm.
Not when the house is quiet.
Not when things go “according to plan.”

Always. 😘

No performance.
No checkboxes.
No “but I should have…”
Just you.

✨ Period.
