🪴 The growth and health of our body are aided by vitamins and minerals as well as other nutrients including proteins, carbs, and dietary fats. These vital vitamins and minerals each have a unique function in maintaining our general health. Let's dive right in some of those 🚛💨
☘️ 𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗡 𝗔
Your liver, heart, lungs, and other organs remain healthy thanks to vitamin A. It is critical for immunological, reproductive, and visual health and is also known as beta-carotene.
Beef liver, salmon, broccoli, carrots, squash, green leafy vegetables, melons, apricots, mangoes, dairy products, and fortified cereals are all good sources of vitamin A.
🍊 𝗩𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗠𝗜𝗡 𝗖
Vitamin C, also referred to as ascorbic acid, strengthens the immune system and improves the body's ability to absorb iron from plant-based diets and supplements. As an antioxidant, vitamin C shields our cells from oxidative stress caused by free radicals. By assisting our body in producing collagen, it also helps with wound healing.
Citrus fruits and juices, kiwis, red and green peppers, strawberries, cantaloupe, broccoli, brussels sprouts, tomatoes, tomato juice, and baked potatoes are all good sources of vitamin C. (cooking it this way, with the skin on, retains the folate, B6 and vitamin C.)
