we participated in the Nepalese New Year Party by ONFA held at Wakasa Community Center and set up our blood donation awareness booth.

We were very happy to welcome many visitors and interact with people from different backgrounds while sharing the importance of blood donation. We also sincerely appreciate everyone who cooperated with us in providing data for the upcoming blood donation event on June 14.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Japanese volunteers who supported us in managing the booth smoothly.

It was truly a meaningful experience to work together beyond nationalities. We will continue spreading awareness and encouraging more people to donate blood.

若狭公民館で開催されたネパールニューイヤーパーティに参加し、献血啓発ブースを出展しました。

多くの方にご来場いただき、さまざまな国の方々と交流しながら、献血の大切さをお伝えすることができました。また、6月14日に予定している献血イベントに向けたデータ収集にもご協力いただき、心より感謝申し上げます。

日本人ボランティアの皆さまにもブース運営をサポートしていただき、スムーズに活動を行うことができました。誠にありがとうございました。

国籍を超えて協力し合えたことを大変嬉しく思います。今後も献血の輪を広げていきます。

We participated in the 19th Volunteer Organizations Exchange Meeting organized by Co-op Okinawa.

Although I arrived at the venue a bit late, as soon as I sat down, I was told, “You’re presenting next!” 😆

During my presentation, I mainly talked about blood donation activities and had a great opportunity to share the importance of donating blood with various volunteer organizations. It was a meaningful experience to connect and exchange ideas with others working for the community.




4月4日に、コープおきなわ主催の「第19回ボランティア団体交流会」に参加しました。

少し遅れて会場に到着しましたが、席に座るとすぐに「次が発表です」と案内されました😆

発表では主に献血活動についてお話しし、さまざまなボランティア団体の方々に献血の大切さを伝えることができました。他団体との交流や意見交換もでき、とても有意義な時間となりました。

We had the opportunity to visit the Sinchon Blood Donation Center to better understand the blood donation system in Korea, especially focusing on procedures, youth participation, and foreign donor involvement.

The staff kindly explained the entire Korean blood donation process in detail. What impressed me the most was their multilingual system (including English), which makes the process much more inclusive and accessible for foreigners. This is a great step toward encouraging international donors.

The center itself has around 7 donation beds, and today there were very few donors. I was informed that the number of young blood donors is decreasing day by day, which is a growing concern. There is a daily shortage of blood, highlighting the urgent need for more awareness and participation.

On a positive note, foreigners also occasionally come forward to donate, showing that blood donation is truly a global act of humanity.

We shared the information regarding the blood donation activities which we are doing in Japan. I gave them our pamphlets of Nepalese Blood Donors Association,Japan.

Let’s continue to spread awareness and encourage more people especially youth to donate blood and save lives. 🩸

【大和証券財団・贈呈式】
ネパール献血者協会 日本のプロジェクト「47都道府県での献血啓発活動」が、公益財団法人大和証券財団による「2025年度（第32回）ボランティア活動助成」に採択されました。

2月20日（金）、大和証券那覇支店にて開催された大和証券財団「ボランティア部門助成金贈呈式」に出席し、支店長より立派な贈呈書を授与いただきました。

本年度は、全国400を超える団体から応募があり、そのうち201団体が採択されたとのことです。このような意義ある助成に選出いただき、心より感謝申し上げます。
本助成金は、47都道府県で実施する献血啓発活動における交通費、献血者プルゼント、イベント開催費などに活用させていただきます。

また、本活動を支えてくださっているネパール献血者協会 日本（NBDAJ）のメンバーの皆さまをはじめ、若狭公民館、那覇市民活動支援センター、那覇市社会福祉協議会（ボランティアセンター）、そして在住ネパール人のさまざまな団体の皆さまの温かいご支援・ご協力に、心より感謝申し上げます。

今後も「Share Blood, Save Lives」• 『PROUD BLOOD DONOR』の理念のもと、国籍や言語を越えて献血の大切さを広めてまいります。
引き続き、皆さまのご支援・ご協力をよろしくお願い申し上げます。

[Daiwa Securities Foundation – Grant Presentation Ceremony]

The Nepalese Blood Donors Association Japan’s project, “Blood Donation Awareness Activities in All 47 Prefectures,” has been selected for the “2025 (32nd) Volunteer Activity Grant” provided by the Daiwa Securities Foundation.

On February 20 (Friday), we attended the Volunteer Grant Presentation Ceremony held at the Daiwa Securities Naha Branch, where we were honored to receive the official certificate of grant from the Branch Manager.

This year, more than 400 organizations nationwide applied, and 201 organizations were selected. We sincerely express our deepest gratitude for being chosen for this meaningful grant.

The grant will be utilized for transportation expenses, Blood Donors Gift, and event organization costs related to our blood donation awareness activities conducted across all 47 prefectures of Japan.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to the members of Nepalese Blood Donors Association Japan (NBDAJ), as well as Wakasa Community Center, Naha City Civic Activities Support Center, Naha City Council of Social Welfare (Volunteer Center), and the various Nepali community organizations residing in Japan for their continuous warm support and cooperation.

Under the理念 of “Share Blood, Save Lives” and “PROUD BLOOD DONOR,” we will continue to promote the importance of blood donation beyond nationality and language barriers.
