The current weather forecast predicts that the typhoon will hit Tokyo on Oct. 12th, Saturday with the effects of the weather continuing until Sunday morning. Given the logistics involved in set up, the unpredictability of the effects of the typhoon, and ultimately the importance of personal safety at the event, it has been decided to postpone the Festival until

Monday October 14th, from 10am

~Dads in Yellow~
Calling all DADS TO HELP!!!!

To all Seisen dads,

A call for volunteer Dads for the Seisen Festival Security team.

It is time for the largest school event of the year - Festival of Nations which this year will be held on Oct 12th Saturday.

This email goes out to Seisen Dads who might be interested in being part of the security group DIYs (Dads in Yellow) for the Festival.

We are looking for volunteers to cover the following shifts. (note: subject to further adjustments)
- (9AM-11AM)
- (11AM-1PM)
- (1PM-3PM)
- (3 PM-4PM)
DIYs are not meant for physical confrontations, which would be handled by the school guards, and eventually the police. DIY’s are attentive eyes and ears, helpers and coordinators, sometimes finders of lost children, and always have a great time helping to make the Festival of Nations run smoothly and successfully.

We would highly appreciate if YOU can spare some time for us during the Festival this year to be held on October 12th.Please contact this years DIY leader Mr. Mohanta at dmohanta@yahoo.com if you can do so.

Finally but not the least, we want to thank all returning DIYs again for past year's support and hope that you'll be able to come out and work with us again.
