On August 4, 2025, our COO, Shintaro Nakayama, gave a talk at the "TMGH Career Seminar" hosted by Nagasaki University School of Tropical Medicine and Global Health! It was a valuable opportunity to share OUI Inc.'s initiatives with students from around the world who are studying tropical medicine and global health.

OUI Inc., in collaboration with Megane Top Co., Ltd., which operates the nationwide “Megane Ichiba” eyewear chain in Japan, has donated 840 eyeglass frames to Lurio University, located in Nampula Province in northern Mozambique.
This initiative marks the fifth donation in a series of international contributions by OUI Inc. and Megane Top, following previous donations of eyeglass frames and lenses to Malawi in 2021, sunglasses to Kenya in 2022, sunglasses and frames to Bali, Indonesia in 2023, and eyeglass frames to Nepal in 2024.

On July 22–23, Shintaro Nakayama, COO of OUI Inc., participated in a delegation program to Taiwan jointly organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Startup Island Taiwan!
It was an invaluable opportunity to share our initiatives with Taiwanese VCs and healthcare startups.

On July 12, 2025, OUI Inc. COO Shintaro Nakayama participated in KOZA ROCKS PITCH AWARD held at Koza Music Town in Okinawa City! Although we did not win the award, we received a lot of positive feedback from many people and received a lot of insights and tips for promoting our activities in Okinawa in the future! OUI Inc. had exhibition booth in Asian Development Bank (ADB)'s INSPIRE Health Forum on 8th and 9th July, held in ADB Headquarter in Manila, the Philippines!
We also participated in the elevator pitch event on the forum. The pitch event was held during the 2 days, and Shintaro Nakayama, COO of OUI Inc. has won the 3rd place in the day2 category!

We have just released a new demo movie of Smart Eye Camera!

This movie was introduced at Cannes Lions 2025, one of the most prestigious global creative festivals, where we were selected as finalists in the Pharma category!

OUI Inc.'s Smart Eye Camera was shortlisted out of 298 entries in the Pharma category at Cannes Lions 2025, the world's premier creative festival. We did not make it the award, but it is our great honor to be selected in the shortlist of 28 finalists for the award. Our panels is now displayed at the Cannes Lions, as a reward of being shortlisted!
