This might look like a mess to you, but today this was my gym.
As I prepare for this upcoming birth I want to share what I'm doing to have the best experience. Today's 30 minute birth prep came in the shape of a workout! There are lots of great online resources for prenatal workouts, talk with your care provider to make sure you do what's right for your individual situation. Benefits to working out come in all shapes and sizes from keeping you healthy, helping babies development and preparing you for labor and birth. As our family prepares for another little addition I will be taking some time off from attending births. I am however continuing to teach childbirth, breastfeeding and newborn classes. If you have any interest in one or all of these classes please let me know!

This is so cool! What an easy way to help your little one get a good start. With a doula you write a birth plan and learn about options that you might not have been aware of. Waiting for the cord to stop pulsing is one the those options!
