DANDRUFF

Is a common skin condition that causes white or grey flakes of skin to appear on the scalp and in the hair.

FAST FACTS ON DANDRUFF
1. Dandruff is a common skin condition, but it can be embarrassing and difficult to treat.

CRYPTORCHIDISM

When the te**es do not descend, the condition is called "cryptorchidism".
The condition occurs in about 3% of fullterm infants and about 30% of premature infants. Untreated cryptorchidism on both sides results in sterility because the cells involved in the initial development of s***m cells are destroyed by the higher temperature of the pelvic cavity. The chances of testicular cancer is 30 to 50 times greater in cryptorchid te**es. The te**es of about 80% of boys with cryptorchidism will descend spontaneously during the first year of life. When te**es remain undescended, the condition can be corrected surgically ( orchiopexy), ideally before 18 months of age.
