We would like to apologise to all the Buburi and surrounding communities for the very sad news that we are unable to open the clinic again as hoped due to the ongoing court case.

Just to remind everyone this clinic is owned by the community and NOT by any individual. It was built on Rom Wandera's land as the clinic was his dream to help his community. The clinic buildings were funded entirely through charitable funds from the UK. The land is owned by the Wandera family. It is with their kind permission the clinic can operate for this community.

An individual from the community has selfish intent on the clinic and is spoiling the community's rights to enjoy local healthcare being provided at the clinic by continuing legal action.

We will continue to update you all as things progress.

We would like to apologise to everyone in the community for the temporary closure of this clinic. We are currently cleaning, repairing and renovating to get ready for opening early in the New Year.
The clinic will be under completely new management when it opens. This new committee will represent all the local community members and will be working hard to provide this community with an excellent healthcare facility.
