As we celebrate Eid al-Fitr, we are reminded of the values of compassion, generosity, and community.
At REMAKE (Restored Minds Akilicare Kenya), this season is also an opportunity to reflect on the importance of mental health and wellbeing for everyone—children, men, and women alike. While we come together in celebration, it is equally important to check in on one another, offer support, and create safe spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued.
May this Eid bring peace, healing, and renewed strength to individuals, families, and communities. Let us continue to build a culture where mental health awareness is embraced and support is accessible to all.
Eid Mubarak. 🤍

Social media is affecting our children too.
The pressure to compare, to fit in, to be “perfect”… it’s real.
Let’s guide them with love and reassurance.

17/03/2026

“I don’t care anymore.”
When a child says this, it might mean they’ve been trying too hard for too long.
Burnout can look like giving up.

17/03/2026

Sometimes, what looks like “bad behavior” is actually a child asking for help.
Not all struggles are spoken—some are acted out.

17/03/2026

“Do your best” should never feel like “be perfect.”
Perfection is exhausting—especially for a child.
Let’s remind them that trying is enough. 🌱

17/03/2026

Burnout in kids can look like:
• Irritability
• Low energy
• Trouble focusing
• Complaining about feeling unwell
It’s not always obvious—but it’s real.

17/03/2026

Children feel pressure too—
from school, friends, family, and even themselves.
Sometimes all they need is a safe space to talk and be heard.

17/03/2026

When a child loses interest in something they once loved, don’t ignore it.
It might not be “just a phase.”
It could be emotional burnout.
Let’s pay attention.
