Happy IDAHOBIT celebration.!!
Its was a real pleasure to be in Kisumu this year with a diversity of strong empowered LBQ womxn.
I would love to thank LBQ for a great job done despite the covid situation and limitations
It won't be a complete celebration without goodies( quality branded t-shirts), good food and perfect setting
Everyone had a chance to participate in the mental health talk, vetting, games and dance
My main take_ways were the ideas to uplift each other emotionally and financially by embracing what we have at hand like talents and skills for financial gain.
Everyone has something to offer and teaching, sharing and motivation would open new and broader opportunities
LBQ women were empowered to take advantage of job and learning opportunities shared by the leaders in their social media spaces to enhance their skills or even build new ones.
As a way to tackle mental and physical health, KISLEB LBQ would open its doors every Wednesday for aerobics and dance classes.

We have opportunities in our hands it's upto us to put our hands and heart to work and bring the change we desire.
