If there's a history of diabetes in your family, do you consider it as a predisposing factor for you? What about Hypertension?

When you're getting into diets and healthy eating, do you include your kids?
It's so sad that most people are poisoning their children with junk day in day out.
You buy soft drinks yet you won't go near them.
You buy them sugary biscuits and cakes yet you don't eat any.
Do you even taste these things to ensure they're not mouldy or poisoned?
Do you even care what the ingredients are?
Why would you cook Cassava and sweet potatoes and yet allow your children to eat bread?
I think clean eating should be adopted by the whole family.
You show your children discipline and intentional clean eating, and they'll adopt it for life.
We are sadly raising children who will develop insulin resistance in their 20s, hypertension in their early 30s and type II Diabetes by 40. Sometimes it's even worse.
Obesity in children is at an all time high.
Our children don't get any chance to exercise at all. They're in the school bus by 5:30, sit all day in class and come home to sumptuous meals full of carbs they don't need.
We need to rethink 😳😳

πŸ‘‰πŸΌBetter still, if your last meal is not the heaviest, you will have a great night's sleep and your digestive system will thank you for the rest. Take a smoothie or a sugar free dessert instead.

πŸ‘‰πŸΌIf you walk 10 to 20 minutes after your heaviest meal of the day, you will easily regulate your blood sugars. This will also help reverse insulin resistance if done consistently. Let your heavy meal be taken some time in the mid-afternoon or evening

πŸ‘‰πŸΌIf you take a salad rich in protein and veggies, you will not feel hungry quickly. If you're trying to fast for long hours, you must choose your food right. Avoid refined carbs, sugars and energy drinks.
