The COVID-19 Response Call Centre has been launched at Maseno University, Kisumu Campus. This is through the Partnership of The County Government of Kisumu and Maseno University and collaborations from Pharmaccess Foundation.

Dr. Benjamin Ombok, Director Kisumu Campus, Maseno University who was the Host Welcomed guests at the campus, Opening prayers done by Dr. Midldred Ayere, Director eCampus. Prof. Stephen Ogendo, Dean School of Medicine Maseno University remarked that due to difficulty times the Country is facing becase of The COVID-19 Pandemic, there was a need to support the people of the County by establishing a Call Centre where School of Medicine Students from Maseno University would volunteer their services for this noble course.

Present were Pharmaccess Foundation Representative: Ms. Nathalie Houber, Chief Officer Health Services Dr. Okwesu Joseph, Deputy Governor Dr. Mathew Owili, The Vice-Chancellor, Maseno University Prof. Julius O. Nyabundi, PhD, OGW and Governor, Kisumu County H.E. Prof. P Anyang' Nyong'o Support the Government to fight agaist the COVID-19 Pandemic and have joined hands and put their efforts together to help the community.
The call centre has officially been moved to Kisumu County Referral Hospital in the new Administration Block.
