Awasi Talanta Football Club Awasi Talanta FC is a grassroots talents based entity using sports for fitness, empowerment and promoting Sustainable Development

Our idea is to use sports as a tool for promoting peace and sustainable development at grassroots and create awareness on chronic diseases and drug abuse. We seek to work with the local community to upscale the project and incorporate the public health aspects, savings, self-employment, agribusiness and talent management. Under the newly unveiled sustainable development goals by the United Nations, there are some goals that are relevant to the project that we intend to achieve. These include;
Goal 1 End poverty in all its forms everywhere
Goal 2 End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture
Goal 3 Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
Goal 5 Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls


We also look forward to organizing a yearlong local league for 12 community clubs and set up a community resource center that uses sport as a tool for youth engagement and empowerment.

kudos to thoz who supported us during Ongow tournament for nyangoma masogo ...once again we showed that it was not luck why we were the best in miwani division n runners up in muhoroni sub county ...we r class .... we won the cup and defeated all the favourites ... Talanta 3 - 1 pawteng. mibasi 1 Talanta 3. ngere 1 Talanta 1 (3-5) penalties final Talanta 1 ogilo 0 ... we are champs na si tafadhali. special thanks to Enstair ongus and sir Geoff who facilitated our transport.
