Cicilia Namulen Foundation (cnf) Turkana County Cecilia Namulen Foundation (CNF) is a Turkana-Based, Kenyan registered Company (Reg…No.CPR/2011/61998….) .

CNF has been formed to foster development and holistic transformation of the Turkana community in embracing the spirit of vision 2030 as well as achieving the Milenium Development Goals geared towards addressing the following challenges facing Turkana Community:

• Endemic situation of insufficient food production and malnutrition with all the ensuring consequences in health, education etc.
• Cultural / mentality difficulties in accepting changes that could improve their lives.
• Being a remote area on the border with Sudan & Ethiopia, communication and transport become very costly & difficult. There is scarcely any internal trade.
• Lack of water resources and under use of locally available water resources.
• Lack of human resources with suitable skills and inappropriate formal education to face the living conditions of the area.
