The Hospitality section at the Machakos County Referral Hospital has recorded an improved working condition following the installation of modern steam boilers procured by the County Government of Machakos.

The equipment has been installed in the newly renovated, well-ventilated kitchen, replacing the previous firewood-based setup that exposed staff to harmful smoke fumes.

The upgraded facility now enables efficient preparation of meals for the over 500 inpatients daily, improving timeliness and hygiene standards.

Staff at the Hospital have expressed appreciation to H.E. Governor Wavinya Ndeti EGH for prioritizing the safety and quality of their working environment which will enhance their output at the workplace.
